We're a small hobby farm in Rockdale, Texas. It started in 2020 with five chickens when we wanted to always have fresh, free-range eggs on the counter but it slowly evolved over the years. Now we have 60 egg layers, a greenhouse full of plants (ask us about our goji berry plants!), and, our latest addition, TAMUK-C rabbits.
They were developed at Texas A&M to tolerate the heat and humidity which, as you can imagine, make them the perfect backyard meat rabbit for central Texas. If you get a breeding trio from us (a buck and two does), you can put 40-60+ rabbits in the freezer each year for minimal feed cost and labor!
